Who we are
BusinessFade ("we", "us") publishes educational guides at businessfade.com. Questions about this policy can be sent to privacy@businessfade.com.
Information we collect
Information you give us. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the email address you submit. If you email us, we receive your message and any details you include.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers and analytics tools may record technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed and time of visit. We use this to understand which guides are useful and to keep the site running.
Cookies and similar technologies. We may use cookies for basic site function and analytics. Affiliate partners may set cookies to attribute a referral when you follow one of their links. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may affect some site features.
We do not ask for or knowingly collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or other sensitive personal information, and you should never send such details to us by email.
How we use information
- To operate, maintain and improve the site
- To send our newsletter to people who requested it
- To respond to messages and corrections
- To measure aggregate traffic and content performance
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing
We may share limited information with service providers who operate on our behalf, such as website hosting, email delivery and analytics providers, under contracts limiting their use of it. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Affiliate partners may receive information about referred visits under their own privacy policies. Following a link to another site means their policy governs, not ours.
Your choices and rights

- Cookies. Manage them in your browser. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal where applicable.
- Access and deletion. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, email privacy@businessfade.com with the subject "Privacy request".
- Complaints. Residents of some states may lodge a complaint with their state authority.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Data retention and security
We keep newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe, and correspondence for as long as needed to handle the matter. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted transport, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
